In 2011 Deutsche Bank chose The Eve Appeal as its joint Charity of the Year, raising a magnificent £600,000 for gynaecological cancer research. 

The Bank gave the green light for celebrity Jo Brand and The Eve Appeal team to hit the trading floors on a single mission: to convince staff to donate One Day of their annual salary.  Deutsche Bank match-funded every pledge made (collectively, this day raised £300,000 alone).   

Suitably inspired, 95 Bank employees then walked The Great Wall of China for us and 16 cycled from London to Cologne in four days. 

These are just some of the highlights of what's been a high-impact - and mutually rewarding - partnership between big business and charity.
