Every year a million women worldwide are diagnosed with a
gynaecological cancer.
This figure is just 200,000 fewer than the number of women who
are diagnosed with breast cancer, yet the breast cancer five year
survival rate in the UK is 80% compared with under 35% of women who
survive ovarian cancer for more than five years.
The Eve Appeal is determined to improve these grim statistics by
funding vital research that will help save women's lives not only
in the UK but throughout the world, but we need your support.
