Welcome to the Eve Appeal website

Every year a million women worldwide are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer.

This figure is just 200,000 fewer than the number of women who are diagnosed with breast cancer, yet the breast cancer five year survival rate in the UK is 80% compared with under 35% of women who survive ovarian cancer for more than five years.

The Eve Appeal is determined to improve these grim statistics by funding vital research that will help save women's lives not only in the UK but throughout the world, but we need your support.

Use this site to read about gynaecological cancers and the world-class research programme at UCL's Gynaecological Cancer Research Centre.  Also find out more about who we are and what we do, what we have achieved and how you can help us make a real difference.

Join the 75,000 women who have already made time for TEA and raise vital funds and awareness for gynaecological cancers.

Lorraine Kelly will spearhead The Eve Appeal's fifth Annual Make Time for TEA campaign in 2010. Make Time for Tea asks you to hold a tea party and send the money raised to The Eve Appeal.
The Eve Appeal also wants to encourage women to talk more about gynaecological cancers. And so, as part of Make Time for TEA 2010 we will be equiping women with the tools and messages necessary to educate themselves about gynaecological cancers and to empower them to educate others.
So this year, help raise vital funds and awareness for gynaecological cancer by making time for TEA and a chat.
